This is bordering on song status. It builds, has a “breakdown,” sort of feels like present-day Stephen Malkmus sent his backing track back in time to Beck’s studio ca. 1994 where it got all jammed and clogged up the machines. Is that the sound of you opening a can of beer halfway thru?
